Considering the very important role of elevator safety parts, especially the door lock, shock absorber, safety brake (parachute) and governor in elevator safety and considering the mandatory standards of the 4 mentioned parts and with the cooperation of the National Standards Organization of Iran, since 2006 until now the services related to We have provided this standard.
In this laboratory, 4 standard tests are performed as follows:
Elevator governor test (one-way and two-way governor) for different speeds
Elevator door lock test for sliding and hinged samples
Gradual elevator safety brake test (one-way and two-way safety brake) with a maximum capacity of 4500 kg and a maximum rated speed of 3 meters per second
Elevator shock test for hydraulic and polyurethane samples
Governor test device
According to the national standard 7988, this device must have the capabilities of measuring the governor’s speed and traction force, which are as follows:
The ability to measure the speed of the governor during the operation of the electrical system
The ability to measure the speed of the governor during the operation of the mechanical system
The ability to measure the tensile force in the steel rope during governor engagement
Hinged and sliding door lock test device
This device is designed and built in such a way that it can test floor door locks in accordance with the national standard No. 7985 and as follows:
A) Tests of durability and ability to break the circuit
The durability test of the sliding door lock is performed with a cycle of one million times and with a rhythm equal to 60 times per minute and with a tolerance of (10% +/-) and during the durability test, the electrical connection is made with a resistance circuit under the nominal voltage and a current equal to twice the current Namely, it is placed in parallel. If the door lock is hinged, this test will be limited to 100,000 times (1% +/-).
b) static test and dynamic test
This device provides the possibility of applying a static force of up to 3000 newtons in a period of 300 seconds for hinged doors. Also, with this device, it is possible to enter static force up to 1000 newtons for sliding doors.
In the dynamic test, with this device, the lock is tested against an impact equivalent to the impact produced by the free fall of a solid object with a mass of 4 kg from a height of 0.5 meters.
c) Electrical tests
Contact durability test by applying alternating current of 220 volts and 2 amps and direct current of 180 volts and 2 amps.
It is possible to perform this test in alternating current 50 times at normal speed and time intervals of 5 to 10 seconds for a circuit with a voltage of 110% of the rated voltage, and in direct current with 20 times at the rated speed and time intervals of 5 to 10 seconds with a voltage equivalent to 110 % nominal voltage and connection time is possible for at least half a second.
