The visit of the head of the Russian Standards Authority to the ISQI testing center.

Members of the Federal Agency of Technical Regulation and Metrology of Russia, accompanied by representatives of the Iranian National Standards Organization, visited various sections of the ISQI Automotive Safety and Pollution Measurement Laboratory complex this afternoon.
Saeed Tajik, the CEO of ISQI, introduced the activities of this center to the Russian delegation during a meeting and stated: “Commitment to sustainable development for a cleaner and healthier society is among the goals of this center.”
He also proposed expanding and deepening cooperation in the inspection of Iranian goods destined for Russia, with reference to the long-term strategy of this facility for enhancing laboratory activities in the automotive and elevator sectors. Tajik explained: “All goods imported from Russia to the Iranian market are also evaluated and confirmed by non-Russian inspection companies.”
Tajik regarded the presence of the Russian delegation for bilateral negotiations with the Iranian National Standards Organization as a fortunate event in the commercial relations between the two countries and emphasized: “This agreement can provide the groundwork for mutual cooperation, benefiting from the capacities created for other inspection companies as well.”
During this visit, the head of the Russian Standards Authority positively evaluated the laboratory capacities and capabilities of ISQI, stating: “The agreement between the standards of the two countries facilitates and expedites trade conditions.”
Shalaev emphasized that commercial activities will proceed within the framework of the provisions of the aforementioned agreement, stating: “Other commercial exchanges between the two countries, both in the public and private sectors, are conducted under the umbrella of this agreement.”
He added regarding the proposal for cooperation aimed at conducting inspection processes by Iranian and Russian inspection bodies: “This initiative not only reduces costs and time for traders but also provides an opportunity for assessing entities in the inspection process.”
Tajik also suggested: “By establishing connections between other inspection companies in the two countries that engage in joint activities, a new chapter of economic cooperation will begin.”
It is noteworthy that the head of the Russian Standards, leading a delegation for the signing of the implementation program and continuing negotiations and bilateral cooperation that have been on the agenda for the past two years, has traveled to Iran.
