After-Sales Service Evaluation for Machinery
The provision of effective after-sales services for road construction, mining, and construction machinery is of particular importance, given the direct role these types of equipment play in construction, mining, and infrastructure projects. Continuous machinery operation, access to specialized services, parts supply, and the responsiveness of the service network are among the factors that affect equipment productivity and help reduce operational downtime.
Since 2010, Iran Standard & Quality Inspection Company (ISQI) has been evaluating companies supplying road construction, mining, and construction machinery and their after-sales services within the framework of the Consumer Protection Law and its relevant regulations. Given the importance of developing and improving after-sales services in this field, in 2014, the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, in cooperation with Iran Standard & Quality Inspection Company (ISQI), machinery manufacturers/distributors, and other industry experts, undertook the development and issuance of requirements and regulations governing after-sales services for machinery.
As part of this process, the performance of suppliers and their after-sales service networks is assessed from various aspects, and their level of compliance with the established requirements is evaluated. ISQI also uses specialized infrastructure and information technology, web-based systems, and electronic assessment tools to carry out the registration and management of information, monitoring of results, and preparation of management reports in an integrated manner.
