Road survey test of light cars since 2002 with the approval of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade regarding the conduct of road survey test to investigate and evaluate vehicle defects with a survey of 20,000 kilometers and in two parts, urban cycle test and road test in all weather and climate conditions. country and started in the form of one-day and multi-day tests (long test). In 2013, it was compiled as the national standard of Iran by this company, and the amount of surveying increased from 20,000 to 30,000 kilometers. Iran Standard and Quality Inspection, as the first inspection company, conducts the inspection of light vehicles.
Considering the importance of customers to the quality of the car and the special sensitivity regarding the identification of functional and dynamic defects, the evaluation of the road navigation of light vehicles is considered as an effective method to evaluate the car, because performing this test makes it possible that the car in Different road conditions and in different seasons have been evaluated in order to evaluate the functional systems and the durability of different car parts after operation and long navigation.
According to the importance and type of defect observed in each car and based on the road survey standard according to the number and severity of the observed defects, the cars are classified into five quality levels: very good, good, acceptable, minimum acceptable and unacceptable level.
Since the beginning of the company’s activity in this field, 190 vehicles have been tested, the result of which has been the discovery of safety and performance defects that led to a stop, as well as a large number of important and fundamental defects.
