Consulting and Implementation Services for Food Safety Standards, Including GMP, ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC, IFS, and FSSC 22000

Iran Standard & Quality Inspection Company (ISQI) was established in 1989 with the aim of providing technical and engineering services, consulting and research services to improve the quality of manufactured products and protect consumer rights, developing standards required by industries, and supervising the proper implementation of projects and provision of services. With three decades of experience in technical inspection, engineering services, and consulting services across various industrial fields, as well as quality management systems and occupational health, safety, and environmental management systems and accreditations granted by competent authorities, including the Vice Presidency for Strategic Planning and Supervision, the National Standards Organization of Iran, the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, the Department of Environment, the Consumer and Producer Protection Organization, the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the National Iranian Oil and Gas Companies, Tavanir, and the Food and Drug Administration, the company has been able to provide high-quality and valuable services to customers in various fields by attracting and utilizing the expertise of specialized and experienced professionals inside and outside the country.

The production of a safe and suitable product requires the establishment of appropriate conditions and infrastructure. In the food, pharmaceutical, and medical equipment industries, these conditions are generally referred to as GMP and GHP. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is part of a quality assurance system that ensures products are consistently and appropriately manufactured and controlled in accordance with quality standards. In addition, the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System standard covers the prevention, elimination, and control of food safety hazards from the point of production to the point of consumption. Since food safety hazards can occur at any stage of the process, companies involved in the food supply chain must implement adequate hazard controls. Maintaining food safety is possible only through the joint efforts of all parties involved, including manufacturers, retailers, end consumers, and governments as policymakers and regulators. ISO 22000:2018 applies a new approach to risk as a fundamental concept in the food business.

The instructors of Iran Standard & Quality Inspection Company have the capability to provide consulting, implementation, establishment, and training services for the above-mentioned systems across various grades and sectors, including food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and other industries. Other advantages include the presence of auditors in locations around the world, fast implementation, competitive costs compared with other inspection companies, specialized and experienced consultants inside and outside the country in the food and cosmetics sectors, and accuracy in preparing reports.

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)

This standard is used to manage food safety risks. The HACCP system enables you to identify hazards and establish controls to manage them throughout your production supply chain. This standard incorporates the requirements of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC), established by the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to harmonize international food standards, guidelines, and codes of practice for trade. This standard can be used to support the requirements of management standards such as ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management).

Benefits of HACCP

  • Implementation of food safety and hazard controls at the international level;
  • Building confidence in controls among manufacturers, stakeholders, and suppliers;
  • Aligning HACCP with ISO 22000 to improve food safety management systems.
