Vehicle Quality Evaluation
Since 1993, the Vehicle Quality Evaluation Department of Iran Standard and Quality Inspection Company (ISQI) has been responsible for evaluating all domestically manufactured passenger cars, pickup trucks, passenger transport vehicles, and commercial vehicles, acting as the representative of policymaking organizations in the automotive industry. Since 2024, the latest revision of the Vehicle Quality Evaluation Guideline has been issued and implemented, focusing on identifying functional defects through three methods: comprehensive audit, static performance, and dynamic performance, based on the current needs of consumers.
The vehicle quality evaluation process has been designed with the objectives of continuously monitoring quality at the automakers’ facilities and at the end of production lines, improving the quality of domestically manufactured vehicles, identifying and reporting defects to automakers online, preventing vehicles with safety defects from being delivered to customers, informing the public about the quality status of vehicles, and increasing customer satisfaction.
The results are prepared monthly in the form of analytical and statistical reports and provided to automakers, regulatory organizations, and relevant authorities to serve as a basis for decision-making and quality improvement.
