Fuel rationing was implemented in July 2007 during the Ahmadinejad administration, and the plan is still in effect today.

How much is the monthly fuel quota for a motorcycle?

Currently, the monthly fuel quota for motorcycles is 25 liters, and up to a maximum of 9 months, equivalent to 225 liters, can be stored on the motorcycle fuel card.

How many times per day can one use the motorcycle fuel card?

Due to control and regulatory restrictions imposed on fuel cards, owners of these fuel cards are only allowed to use the motorcycle fuel card three times per day. In each transaction, a maximum of 10 liters can be dispensed.

Does obtaining a motorcycle fuel card have a manufacturing year limitation?

In response to this question, it must be stated that yes, the fuel card is only applicable to motorcycles that have been manufactured within the last 10 years. If your motorcycle is more than ten years old, you must use regular gasoline.

If your motorcycle has zero kilometers, the fuel card will be automatically sent to you. However, it is possible that the motorcycle owner has not received their fuel card. In such a case, the owner can apply for the fuel card by providing the necessary documents. Currently, the only method to register a fuel card request is through the motorcycle owner or their authorized representative visiting one of the Police+10 offices in person.

Documents required for registering a fuel card:

• Original national ID card or birth certificate of the motorcycle owner or their legal representative for identity verification.

• Original and copy of the vehicle registration document, plate, or motorcycle card

• Presenting motorcycle insurance

• Providing the address and postal code of the owner or their legal representative

• Payment of the issuance and registration fee for the fuel card

• The process of issuing and sending the motorcycle fuel card

After submitting the documents to the Police+10 offices, the verification process by the NAJA (Law Enforcement Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran) and the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, personalization, issuance, packaging of the card, and delivery to the post office, and subsequently sending it to the cardholder, takes approximately 4-5 business weeks.

Postal Parcel Tracking System

Through the National Post Company’s parcel tracking system, you can track your postal package by having its tracking code.

Log into the organizational parcel tracking system, select “Documents” from the dropdown menu, choose motorcycle documents. Then enter the motorcycle plate number and control numbers, and select the search option. After checking the motorcycle plate number, the system will provide information about the documents and certificates associated with it.
