Diesel Engine and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Laboratory
The company’s Diesel Laboratory was established in 2014 in line with the expansion of activities and development of laboratory services and the reduction of emissions from heavy-duty diesel vehicles. The purpose of establishing this laboratory is to meet the country’s needs for conducting power, torque, and fuel consumption tests on diesel vehicles.
- Having specialized, skilled, and experienced personnel in the field of diesel vehicles and engines
- Capability to conduct power and torque tests on heavy-duty diesel engines with a rated power of up to 500 kW
- Having AVL-branded equipment and dynamometer, which is among the leading laboratory equipment in the field of emissions
- Holding an ISO 17025 certificate from the National Accreditation Center of Iran (NACI)
Tests Available at the Heavy-Duty Diesel Vehicle and Engine Laboratory:
- Power and torque measurement test of heavy-duty diesel engines in accordance with National Standard ISIRI 6483 (ECE R85)
- Measurement of brake-specific fuel consumption (BSFC) of heavy-duty diesel engines in accordance with National Standard ISIRI 6483 (ECE R85)
- Particulate number (PN) measurement test for pollutants emitted by heavy-duty diesel engines
- Opacity measurement test of heavy-duty diesel vehicles
- Heating system test of heavy-duty vehicles in accordance with INSO 19005
