Inspection and assessment of energy consumption based on Iranian National Standard 9650

The tire and tube production process is considered one of the industrial processes with significant energy consumption due to the use of various electrical and thermal equipment and processes. The assessment of the energy consumption criterion is conducted to examine the status of energy consumption, ensure the accuracy of consumption and production data, assess conformity with standard requirements, and identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency.

This service is provided based on the requirements of Iranian National Standard INSO 9650, Tires and Tubes – Energy Consumption Criterion in Production Processes, and includes reviewing production information, energy consumption, energy consumption indicators, and assessment of the energy performance of the production unit.

*Scope of Services

During the inspection and assessment process, the following items are reviewed:

* Review of production information and production volume during the assessment period

* Review of electrical and thermal energy consumption and other relevant energy carriers

* Review of energy consumption bills, documents, and records

* Review of production processes and identification of major energy-consuming equipment and uses

* Review of measuring equipment and methods for recording and monitoring energy consumption

* Review of the calibration status and accuracy of relevant measuring equipment

* Verification and validation of energy consumption and production data

* Calculation and assessment of Specific Energy Consumption (SEC) and other required indicators

* Review of energy consumption indicators over different periods and analysis of their changes

* Comparison of calculation results with the criteria specified in Standard 9650

* Identification of non-conformities and factors contributing to increased energy consumption

Basis of Assessment

All assessments are conducted based on the requirements and criteria of Iranian National Standard INSO 9650 and other relevant technical requirements and regulations.

The result of this process is a documented and reliable assessment of the energy consumption status of the production unit and its level of conformity with the criteria specified in Standard 9650.
