Vehicle Noise Level Laboratory

In view of the company’s experience in supervising noise level tests since 2006, the company established this laboratory in 2013 with the aim of creating an independent laboratory in the field of measuring the noise level of vehicles and motorcycles, using advanced radar and stationary equipment from B&K. After obtaining the relevant accreditation, conducting vehicle noise level tests in accordance with the standards and approved instructions issued by the Department of Environment has been placed on its agenda.

Advantages of Using the Vehicle and Motorcycle Noise Level Measurement Laboratory:

• More than ten years of experience in conducting noise level tests
• Conducting tests at an airport runway considering the importance of the subject and fulfillment of standard requirements
• Highly accurate measurement due to specialized and stationary equipment from Brüel & Kjær, such as Reflector, Photocell, Speed Sensor, Data Acquisition, and PULSE software, as well as the KMT engine speed measurement instrument and other equipment
• Holding an ISO 17025 certificate for measuring noise emissions from vehicles and motorcycles and audible warning devices (horns), issued by the National Accreditation Center of Iran (NACI)

In this laboratory, the external noise level of various vehicles (light- and heavy-duty) is measured in accordance with the methods specified in INSO 4243 and INSO 15854 standards. The noise level of motorcycles is also measured in accordance with ISIRI 10282 at the airport and as part of TA (Type Approval) and COP (Conformity of Production) tests or research tests.
